1. HSC's Intellectual Property
The HSC name, logo, wordmark, platform design, software, and all original content created by HSC are the intellectual property of HSC Market Ltd and are protected by UK and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from HSC's proprietary materials without our express written permission.
2. User Content
When you upload images, write descriptions, or post any other content on HSC, you retain ownership of that content. By posting on HSC, you grant HSC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content for the purposes of operating and promoting the platform, including in search results, social media, and marketing materials.
You warrant that you own or have the right to use all content you post, and that posting it does not infringe any third party's intellectual property rights.
3. Prohibited IP Infringement
The following are strictly prohibited on HSC:
- Listing counterfeit or replica goods that infringe registered trademarks
- Uploading images, videos, or digital files that you do not own or have a licence to distribute
- Selling digital goods containing copyrighted content without the rights holder's permission
- Using another brand's logos, product images, or descriptions without authorisation
- Copying another HSC seller's original listing text or images without permission
Listings that infringe intellectual property rights will be removed immediately upon a valid complaint. Repeat infringers will have their accounts permanently suspended.
4. Copyright Takedown (DMCA)
If you believe content on HSC infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice. While HSC is a UK-based company and the DMCA is US legislation, we honour the same process as a matter of best practice and to protect rights holders globally.
Your takedown notice must include:
- Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
- A specific URL or listing identifier for the infringing content on HSC
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf
- Your electronic or physical signature
Send takedown notices to: ip@hscmarket.com
We aim to review and act on valid notices within 2 business days.
5. Trademark Complaints
Brand owners who have identified counterfeit or unauthorised use of their trademark on HSC may report this via ip@hscmarket.com. Please include your trademark registration details, evidence of the infringement, and the HSC listing URLs involved.
Verified brand partners may request priority review and removal. Contact us to discuss brand partner arrangements.
6. Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- Identification of the content that was removed and its location before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales
- Your electronic or physical signature
Send counter-notices to: ip@hscmarket.com. If the original complainant does not initiate court proceedings within 10 business days of receiving the counter-notice, we may reinstate the content.
7. Repeat Infringer Policy
HSC operates a strict repeat infringer policy. Any account that receives three or more valid copyright or trademark complaints within a 12-month period will be permanently suspended and will not be reinstated. Outstanding wallet balances may be withheld pending resolution of any related claims.
8. GDPR and Personal Data
HSC processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK GDPR. Your personal data is never sold to third parties. We share data with payment processors (Stripe), cloud storage providers (AWS/Cloudinary), and analytics tools only as necessary to operate the platform, under Data Processing Agreements.
